I’m currently working as an Associate Vice President at JSW Steel Ltd, Vijayanagar Works. With over 23 years of experience in the steel industry, I have established myself as a valued professional in the field. I’m a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and joined JSW as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 2000.

Presently I ‘m working as a HOD (SP-2,3,4 & WHRS).

Throughout my career, I have gained expertise in various aspects of the steel industry, particularly in projects, operations, and maintenance of steel plants.

Notably, I also have played a key role in the construction of 4 Sinter Plant projects and Boilers, showcasing my exceptional project management and engineering skills

What I like about Steel Making

Steel making is a fascinating and essential process that has a multitude of appealing aspects. Firstly, the sheer ingenuity and innovation involved in the steel making process are impressive. The transformation of raw materials such as iron ore, coal, and limestone into agglomerates and thereafter to liquid metal & steel which will be rolled to plates requires a combination of advanced technology, engineering expertise, and environmental consciousness.

From construction and infrastructure to transportation and manufacturing, steel is a fundamental component in countless products and structures that we rely on every day.
