During my tenure, I had been part of the team which has started and operated various units, the criticality of trained and skilled work force is well understood by me.
What I like about Steel Making
The complexities in Steel making excites me, more so in today’s challenging conditions. The process is now under pressure to go green and adopt new technologies. The process is fast evolving to be more energy efficient and reduce the dependency on fossil fuels.
What excites me being a Dean for JSW Technical Academy
JSW has been a fast growing organisation and has rapidly diversified. The continued presence in manufacturing and the ever growing capacities will need skilled manpower. The preference of today’s young workforce to move to service sector makes it even more challenging.
To retain the existing workforce, there is a critical need to upskill and update the workforce. It is also essential to have a well-informed , modern training facility to retain and attract workforce.
The technical academy will be a very good initiative in that direction. The experience of working in JSW which has continuously grown with recent technology in all areas will be very helpful for me to contribute to the success of the academy
