Bringing over 32 years of experience to the forefront, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to the table. As the current plant head for JSW Steel Kalmeshwar, I have been intimately involved with operation and projects activities of cold rolling, galvanising, and colour coating.

I did my graduation in Mech Engg from MITS Gwalior and Dip in Industrial management from Welingkar (Mumbai). Set off my professional journey from GET to Plant Head in 1991 with JSW steel Vasind Plant.

My journey in the steel sector has been marked by a deep commitment to innovation, excellence and leadership. With strong believe in systems, logic and analysis, I led the six sigma methodology implementation at Vasind Plant, visited several countries in Europe, middle east, South America, Asia etc for professional assignments and business development. Currently I am council member of “D & I”, convenor of Cluster of excellence for coated, Lead of CFT team for metal coating etc.

I like watching travelling blogs, playing table tennis and compering.

In steel processing cold rolling and its challenges always attracted me. The world of steel making and steel processing is an intricate ballet of science and art, a fascinating interplay of raw materials transforming into something much greater. The transformative nature of steel processing from cold rolling to Galvanising to colour coating (appliance grade) fuels my passion.

As I step into the role of Dean of the JSW Technical Academy, I am excited to channel my expertise into shaping the next generation of steel professionals. Equally I am excited to mentor and guide our employees, helping them turn their potential into prowess, just as we turn HR coils into colourful galvanised coils.
